Advertising, is it a waste of money?
Most companies will advertise to some degree, but in general it
tends to be something that many undertake without a second thought,
or without tracking its effectiveness. “It’s something
we’ve always done”, is a phrase we often hear. Advertising
can bring enormous benefits, but can just as easily be a waste of
time.
For example, in the B2B sector, advertising is not something that
is widely adopted unless it is extremely targeted and specialised.
The reason you don't see Scania Trucks advertising on television
is because B2B buyers tend to have different buying motivations
that are rarely influenced by advertising messages.
Consumers, on the other hand, are more easily influenced by advertising,
which is why companies spend enormous amounts of money trying to
get their messages out, only to find them drowned out by countless
other companies spending enormous amounts of money to do exactly
the same.
Aspect7 are looking into creative ways to break through the clutter
and connect with potential customers at a much lower cost. Using
the internet as the conduit, it is becoming possible to embark on
campaigns that hit exactly the right prospects with entertaining,
hard-to-ignore messages that can follow people wherever they go.
For companies that adopt the new techniques, the payoff is potentially
enormous and Aspect7 aims to be a pioneer in offering these creative
options to our clients.
Our Pledge: When working with us you should see a cut in the cost
of your advertising budget whilst observing an increase in customer
response rates.
